Doughboy

Living in Japan has started to make me self-conscious about my weight.
Actually, to be more accurate, the people in Japan have made me self-conscious about my weight.

Peaches: How much to do you weigh?
Me: Hmm about 90Kg (~200 pounds) I think?
Peaches: Really? You don’t look like it. [Pokes me in the stomach] Oh, there it is.
Me: …
Peaches: [Keeps poking] You should probably lose some weight.

Seven: You’re going back to America soon right?
Me: Yeah, only about 2 months left.
Seven: You’ve gotten skinnier huh? It’s probably from the change in diet.
Me: Yeah, maybe.
Seven: When you go back you’re going to get fat again huh?
Me: Well, I’m going to keep exercising and…
Seven: You’re going to get fat again.

It was fun go back and read your blog back in June, 2010 when you first arrived Imabari. You may want to go back and read what you have wrote. Compare the feeling then to now. What are your thoughts now as you are preparing to come back to Seattle ?

I mean to say what you have written. Compare your feeling at that time to your current feeling as you are getting ready to come back to Seattle.
